Your oracle cat is not a character the app creates. A Felestian is a star deity who has watched over you, close by, since the very day you were born. All Felestia does is call that one to your side.

All it needs is your birthday. Add your time and place of birth and the reading reaches its finest precision — and it's perfectly fine if you don't know them. You can pick your birthplace from over 33,000 cities worldwide, and it works fully offline.

“Since the day you were born, your Felestian has watched over you, always.” A ring of stars turns across the night sky, and your oracle cat shows itself.

“There you are at last — we finally meet, meow. I've watched over you ever since the day you were born.” Its true name is spoken in the language of the stars; once you choose a name that comes easily to you, the daily word of the stars begins.
The form your oracle cat takes is decided by the sky on the day you were born. Every part of the card traces back to the stars of your birth.
The artwork alone combines into 41,472 possibilities. Include the magic circle, and the card becomes one that belongs to your birthday alone. And for the same birthday, the card is the same no matter when it is called — not by chance, but by the necessity of the stars. There is no better or worse, no rarity. Every card is simply that person's own sky.

Today's theme is chosen from the strongest angle formed between today's Moon and your birth chart. That's why your daily horoscope changes each day — and even on the same day, it differs from one person to the next. Beyond the window, the real Moon floats in its shape for that day.
The words that tell it — 315 aspect-condition readings, 180 individual tellings for life's milestones, 144 inborn temperaments — are all written by hand. Which one is spoken is decided by the arrangement of the sky that day, and nothing else.

The positions of the Sun, Moon, and planets are computed each time by the same method as an observatory's almanac (astronomical calculation based on the work of the astronomer Jean Meeus). No random numbers, no recycled, pre-written stock.

The zodiac anchored to the seasons (the tropical method). Only the five classical angles (0°, 60°, 90°, 120°, and 180°) are judged, with an orb — the margin allowed — of 1.0° for the moving bodies and 1.5° for the Moon.

The sky at the moment of your birth is frozen into a single chart, and every reading is built from it. Add your time and place of birth, and the Ascendant (the rising point) and Midheaven (the highest point of the sky) join in as well.

However many times the same person draws again on the same day, the answer is one. It is drawn by a fixed procedure from an unmoving sky and an unmoving birth chart. Today's word belongs to today alone.
